Chia Seeds

Hello there!

Today's post is not about crafts, but I'd like to share with you something that a good friend has just shared with me.
I have been eating chia seeds for a month now, and I love it! There are many health benefits to it and it's crunchy in my plain water (quite fun to drink), so why not give it a try?
I bought my chia seeds (Australia, organic. Orange packaging) from Unity. Some Fairprice sells it too.

I got my hands on the prettiest fabrics today! They are from Japan, very soft and oh the prints!
This is a preview before I take proper photos (pressing them, proper lighting, background.. Etc)

Samples up for grabs!

What I mean by "samples" are the first pieces I make when I experiment something. They aren't perfect but they are still decent.

For example, that drawstring bag is perfectly fine except that I got the planned size wrong. It measures 26.5 x 27cm.

Or -

The single handle tote which measures 23.5 x 19 with a base width of 9cm, has a pocket on the inside which didn't turn out as well as I wanted it to.

Not forgetting the gadget case that I made some time ago, which of course didn't fit the gadget because customization can be a challenge sometimes. This sample can probably fit something that is 18.5 x 25cm.

Time management

I need better time management. Or maybe just be more disciplined. Or maybe a craft studio with no bed around!
When I'm at work, I get inspired by my Pinterest feed. But when I finally do get home, I just feel so exhausted from the entire day of working on excel coatings that I just want to sit and zone out.
I get motivated when I get orders like this wristlet which I haven't made for a while.
But this shouldn't be the way! I want to make new things! I need more weekends!
