Envelope Liners!

Pinterest is a very important social media platform for me. It's my source for inspiration - it's a window to the many talented artist around the world!

I come across beautifully made envelope liners regularly and today I have decided to give it a try this weekend (hopefully..) to make a kraft envelope and a self-drawn liner, or to make good use of the old wrappers lying around in the house.

It's Friday! Have you planned your weekend?

My very first favorite craft blog

is whipup.net
The writer, Kathleen, whom started a serious crafting passion in me, probably inspired so many others to go forward with their handmade stuff, has passed away in May. I found out about this last month - yes, I was abit slow... When I tried again this morning for their website, it's no longer there, but the Facebook page still is, although it's no longer being updated.
I remember whipup.net was always the first blog I would go to whenever I switch on the computer, and I learned quite a bit of crafting tricks from the tutorials.

I hope her children are coping fine.
I hope the people inspired by her will continue to work hard in what they love, and succeed in life, like she had.

Waiting... waiting...

While I'm waiting for work to begin at my brother's office, I'm surfing around for inspiration. A friend asked if I make wristlet pouches. I used to make a few! But right now, with a little bit more experience, I would like to try an improved version.

So anyway, I came across this lovely clutch by EmersonMade... I'm head over heels in love!

Aren't those the prettiest clutches you have ever seen? *swoons*

On the other hand, I think this cartoon-skull fabric (Madbird) is to-die-for:
