What should I do with this? This is so cute but it was an impulse buy so I only got half a yard.
Uncle didn't even cut straight lines :(((
I'm very particular about cutting fabrics because it affects my sewing.
Anyhow... Should I just leave it like that or.. Make a bag? :)

Panel fabric with swedish designs
Travel drawstring bags!
Introducing a new size to the drawstring collection. Well, there are only 2 types of drawstring bags that I have now so maybe calling it a 'collection' is stretching it a little. Haha!
This new size is great for travel! It helps me organize my clothes - to be honest, I use it mainly for my underwear when going on a long trip (more than 4 days).
Or I use it when I bring clothes to and fro, for fitness classes.

I'm running a little promotion for this - order today for just $20, which after today, the usual price would be $28.
What do you think of this new size?

A sweet thoughtful gift!
A customer came back and asked me if I could make a little eye patch for a teddy bear. It was a curious request and she explained that her friend is going for an eye operation soon and she would like to give her a little gift.
This is so so sweet!!
So I gave it a try and it turned out to be kinda funny and cute.. But I think this will be a one time thing because making clothes and accessories for dolls/plush isn't something I would want to do too many times! Haha

Hand-stamped laptop sleeve~
In my excitement to post an order out to this awesome loyal customer, I forgot to snap a photo before sealing the envelope. She has kindly sent me a few shots when I asked her to help!
She wanted both fabrics so one side was the kitty fabric, and the other was one that I specially stamped for her.
The A5 mousepad was also a customized one which I sent to her as a gift as a thank-you for being super patient with me when I was busy and took a really long time to complete her order.
Have a good week!

New fav blog!
Aside from the usual few blogs that I take time out to see daily (creature comforts, oh happy day.. etc), I may just add this to the list! My Life as a Magazine - it's brilliant! full of colors, so cheery! AND!!! it has lots of washi tapes~
I don't visit many blogs every day because it takes up ALOT of time. trust me when I say that because once I start, links after links, I spend a huge chunk of time just on my computer. Holding a full-time job and doing this - love, n - little tiny business, to be honest, not easy, although the results are satisfying most of the time.
Anyway, I'm inspired to decorate my envelopes with my washi tapes! I hope to use most of them as often as I can because then, I will have reasons to buy MOREEEEEE!

Love for Craft = Love for Japan!
Japan has always been one of the leaders in craft.
Half my fabric collection is inspired by Japanese designs and some are specially flown in from that beautiful place. I cannot wait to visit Japan personally!
I found this awesome blog - Tokyo Craft Guide. (I'm still contemplating on buying the USD$18 book.)
A friend recently went to Tokyo and got me some fabrics. When he described that place, it sounded like paradise to me. An entire district just on fabrics and craft things!!! I reckon that place is this Nippori Fabric Town that was mentioned here.
I'm planning a trip early next year and I'm already starting some homework! Yes, excited much but can you blame me? Time to save up to get all the fabrics home! *jumps in joy*
